In Her Shoes

Babysitting our 19-month old granddaughter this weekend. I think we may have overdone it today – a trip to the library this morning, a trip to an animal sanctuary this afternoon, and a stop at the playground on the way back. Meals, diaper changes, play time, bath time.

I just put her in the crib, and she fell asleep without a whimper.

I’m beyond exhausted myself. But it’s the happiest kind of tired there is.

Above are the Little One’s shoes next to her granddad’s. The contrast caught my eye. So grateful.
